South River Farm was created from a vision to preserve and share our beautiful riverfront farm with others. We wanted to create a place where families, friends, and visitors could disconnect from the busyness of everyday life and reconnect with nature, the outdoors, and each other. What started as a family farm has evolved into a destination for camping, recreation, events, and agritourism while maintaining the property’s rural character and natural beauty for future generations.
Our mission is to provide a welcoming outdoor destination where people can slow down, reconnect with nature, create lasting memories, and experience the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley. Through camping, recreation, agritourism, and community-focused events, we strive to preserve our land, support local tourism, and create meaningful experiences for families, friends, and visitors of all ages.
Our family-owned property is 100+ acres along the South Fork of the Shenandoah River in Front Royal, Virginia. What started as a personal dream has grown into something we’re proud to share: a peaceful riverfront escape that brings people back to nature.
Our farm blends glamping stays, seasonal agritourism, and small-town charm. From stargazing in a cozy yurt to floating down the river at sunrise, we’ve created a place where families, friends, and adventurers can slow down and reconnect.
